Young Entrepreneurs From Boston Create First Black owned Legal Cannabis Delivery Company

Zip Run is an on-demand cannabis delivery service founded in 2019 by Gabriel Vieira (Chief Executive Officer) and Elis Omoroghomwan (Chief Growth Officer). Their mission is to inspire the black youth to obtain ownership within any industry of their choice.

Both Elis and Gabe grew up in communities of Boston that have been disproportionately affected by marijuana prohibition and enforcement. Now with Zip Run, they will employ and empower people from their community to prevent the continuation of an inequitable status quo.

Zip Run is a mobile e-commerce platform and an on-demand delivery service for recreational cannabis products. Their goal is to deliver cannabis safely, legally, and offer convenience to their customers.

Gabriel Vieira graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with Honors in 2018, following graduation he went on to a role in management consulting for a top five consulting firm. In college, he co-founded a program in his business school called the Advancement of Diversity in Business. The club’s focus was to promote the diverse student body to potential employers. The club allowed him to successfully help students of color obtain internships/full-time positions at prestigious accounting/consulting firms. 

Elis Omoroghomwan is a serial entrepreneur that graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with Honors in 2018, with a B.B.A in Finance. After college he began his career as a corporate financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company.  He is currently the CEO of a clothing brand called Black Monarch and the CMO of a social media app called EchoMe.

"In the future, our goal is to expand outside of our Massachusetts dispensary partnerships and partner with dispensaries all through out New England."

Zip Run is the first-ever on-demand recreational cannabis delivery service in Massachusetts and the first ever black owned cannabis delivery service in the United States.
