5 Division I Offers Before the First Day of School: Meet 14-Year-Old Celeste Jackson

Before she even walked the halls of Stony Point High School as a freshman, Celeste Jackson had already done something most athletes can only dream of: securing five Division I basketball scholarship offers.

Let that sink in — at just 14 years old, Celeste became one of the most talked-about prospects in Texas, racking up offers from:

  • University of Houston

  • Texas State University

  • Prairie View A&M

  • Old Dominion University

  • University of the Incarnate Word

All before the first day of 9th grade.

The Momentum Continues

And just when you thought the story couldn’t get more impressive — within her first week of school, two more D1 programs came calling:

  • Saint Mary’s College

  • Texas A&M University

Now with seven Division I offers in hand, Celeste is making national noise before even suiting up for a high school game.

🏀 A Rising Star with Big Dreams

Celeste started playing basketball only five years ago — encouraged by her parents and inspired by her father, a former college basketball player. At 6 feet tall, her natural athleticism, basketball IQ, and team-first mentality quickly set her apart on the AAU circuit.

“I love competing with my teammates — basketball is fun and I love winning,” Celeste says.

She’s a relentless competitor on the court and a humble, grounded teen off it.

👟 Off the Court: A Teen With a Vision

When she’s not working on her game, Celeste enjoys shopping, eating, and catching up on sleep — but don’t let the simplicity fool you. Her future goals are clear:

🎓 Play Division I basketball
🏢 Start her own commercial real estate business

That balance of youthful energy and long-term vision is part of what makes her so unique.

As Celeste enters her freshman year at Stony Point, all eyes will be on the court — but her mindset is clearly built for the long game. This is just the beginning.
